Compare and contrast essay is a big essay type in academic writing. Compare and contrast essay will follow a definite question and is easy to produce. While creating a compare and contrast essay, it is important to keep in mind its structure. Lots of good essays were badly evaluated because of incorrect structure, making any inventiveness to come to nothing. Go over the regulations on how to make a common essay, and structure your paper in one of the next two format:
1. The introduction of the essay should open commonly (with some quotation, anecdote or generalization), and link with the thesis statement.
2. Topic 1 is the following portion of your work (that may include one paragraph or more) that should embrace only the first subject of comparison and contrast. This essay type takes two topics and shows how they are similar or dissimilar. You should not mention topic 2 in this part.
3. Topic 2 is the next paragraph of your compare/contrast essay (which can also comprise of one or several paragraphs). It should embrace the second topic. Here you need not discuss Topic 1. Because you have gone into detail about it, you can mention Topic 1 in brief; however, do not examine Topic 1 here. This paragraph of your essay is to talk about Topic 2 thoroughly.
4. Topics 1 and topic 2 together. When you have analyzed both topics independently, it is time to examine them together. This paragraph may be one or more paragraphs.
5. The conclusion should be a thesis generalization. It must express your confidence and absolute knowledge on the problem. You must reassert your thesis and demonstrate how you have justified it.
