22 09 2008Compare /contrast essay is the big essay in academic writing. This essay will follow a definite question and are easy to fulfill. The most significant thing that you should remember is structure of compare /contrast essay. Numerous brilliant essays fall victim to the sorrows of bad structure, making any resourcefulness to fall by wayside. Look at the rules on how to create a general work, and then structure the compare/contrast essay of yours in the following format:
1. The introduction like a five-paragraph-essay, need to open normally (with an anecdote, quotation, generalization), and link the thesis statement.
2. Topic 1of your essay (that may comprise of one or several paragraph) should cover the first theme of the contrast and comparison. Such type of essay takes two problems and demonstrates how they are dissimilar and similar. You must not mention topic 2 in the first portion.
3. Topic 2 of your work (that may also comprise of one or several paragraphs) should cover up the second of these two themes. You should not discuss Topic 1 here. Since you have gone into detail about it, you can refer to Topic 1 in brief; though, do not study Topic 1 in the part. This portion of your work is to talk about Topic 2 in detail.
4. Topics 1 and 2 together. When you have analyzed Topic 1 and 2 separately, now it is high time to analyze these together. Also, this section can contain one or several paragraphs.
5. The conclusion should be the thesis’s generalization. This part should express your confidence and absolute knowledge on the problem. You should reassert your thesis (restate) and present how you have proven it.
